A 1982 graduate of the US Naval Academy, Jeff served the nation for 8 years; 5 at sea and 3 instructing Midshipmen at Annapolis and Officer Candidates in Newport. He taught ethics, naval history and celestial navigation before making a career change to financial planning nearly 30 years ago. Away from the office, Jeff enjoys recreational travel. Flying is also a passion; he started flying lessons at age 11 and completed his first solo in a sailplane at age 14 (before he could drive). His 3rd career combines a love of travel, flight, and photography. An FAA licensed drone pilot (Part 107 certified), Jeff seeks out cityscapes, old tobacco barns, historic covered wooden bridges ... anything with visual character that can be enhanced from an airborne vantage point.
